What’s a quote that perfectly describes your outlook on life?
Have you ever spent part of your life trying to conform or fit in?
Even as a young toddler we learn by copying what others do. This behaviour of taking social cues from others and imitating their gestures, even how they act. We need some of this to learn but there comes a point we need to ask is some of what we learn correct.
Have you ever seen those movies with a gossipy girl group of friends ‘’mean girls’. There usually is one that deep down doesn’t want to conform but feels a need to be liked and a sense of belonging so sticks with that group.
Some parents have a expectation of their children often being similar to them or the version of who they hoped they would have been in life.

Colleagues
Celebrity you follow
Influencer you follow
That model in the make up ads
That guy at the gym
Travel guy/girl
Person pretending they are perfect parent
Person who looks like they have it all together
You are you!
You are you……
What does that mean?
Don’t try to be anyone else but yourself because everyone else is already taken.
We don’t want clones of others it’s just weird honestly. We need authentic people who show up as themselves everyday.
This is why people find once they really get to know someone they are not who they think they are. They have taken abit of personality from various things books, podcasts, people, education, leaders, societal expectations. This list is endless.
So cut the other stuff out and find you, the real you.
Be yourself because everybody else is already taken.
