Favourite Side Hustles

What are your favourite side-hustle ideas?

Side hustles are on the increase with the cost of living expenses climbing.

The great thing about side hustles is that, it can evidently take over as a main income in the future. If it really takes off it can be life changing and take the pressure off relying on one income to meet financial needs.

It can take some time to set up in the beginning. So be prepared to invest time in the evenings and weekends for a while until it’s up and running.

Great side hustles ideas-

• Jewellery making

• Sewing clothes and accessories (only creating one or two of the same items allows you to keep it unique, one offs)

• Odd jobs person (help people in their homes with things like ironing, building items, tidying etc)

• Cleaning homes or small businesses space in the evenings

• Cooking or baking- a takeaway business from your home or supply to local cafe (some licences and laws apply check out your local council for information)

• Mobile home car valet

• Virtual assistant for smaller businesses

• Dog Walker

• Building websites for others

• Freelance Writer for blogs and ghost writer for books

• Repurpose and upholstering furniture to resell online and to local shops

• Photographer for weddings or events

• Sell courses (if you have a saleable skill or education others would benefit from this could be for you. Courses are growing right now)

• Delivery driver for your local supermarket

• Tutor for GCSE or A Levels (if you have a strong subject you truly excelled at that could help a student)

• Gardening for homes or allotments (I don’t see many people offer help for allotments and they get quite over grown FB is a great place to market these services)

• Your skill or hobby turn into a side hustle.

Whatever you choose the income varies but who knows it might pay for that long overdue new kitchen, car, holiday or become your main income.

You may really enjoy this job and make some pretty good money doing it.
